Flex Innovations FT Aura 5 Lite AFCS
The FT Aura 5 Lite is the result of a special collaboration between Flex Innovations and Flite Test to create a flexible stabilization system that preserves the aircraft's personality while allowing pilots of any skill level to maximize its capabilities. Even for those new to stabilization, the system is easy to install and comes with pre-installed generic sport profiles that can be activated without connecting to the Aura Config Tool. With two buttons, you can easily navigate basic features like gyro testing and aircraft configuration.
The FT Aura 5 Lite reacts quickly to movements of the aircraft not commanded by the pilot, ensuring a smooth flight experience in windy or less than ideal weather. The system enhances the pilot’s experience while not interfering with their control, making the aircraft fly as if it were bigger and in less wind, yet still agile. All the power of mixing, subtrims, wing configuration, and differential thrust are contained in the board on your aircraft, so even the most basic transmitters can fly an advanced configuration. Configuration can be as simple or complex as you want it to be based on your needs.
Despite its small size and weight of only 5 grams, the FT Aura 5 Lite can control up to 5 outputs and fit in sub 250g micros up to giant scale aircraft. The system is capable of flying any protocol, such as Futaba, Spektrum, FrSky, Hitec, Graupner, etc. with multiple ports for a serial connection, allowing many receiver brands to connect with just a single cable.
The FT Aura 5 Lite offers beginner-friendly features like Launch Assist, which makes launching or taking off your model easy, and Level Assist, which helps bring the aircraft back to a level position when the pilot is not actively giving input. Bank Limit Assist keeps the pilot from crossing a threshold while still enabling them to feel in control of the airplane. The system also allows for easy profile loading for specific aircraft models, with easy configuration profiles available for Flite Test aircraft and the ability to create and share custom profiles for any kind or brand of aircraft. The Aura Config Tool, a free Windows Application, makes it easy to fine-tune and perfect your model. The FT Aura 5 Lite is known for its world-class stabilization and easy programming, backed by a deep feature set for advanced users. The system provides a great flight experience and helps new pilots through 6-axis modes without removing the disciplines of flight.
